The next of the payments from the Social Security Administration will not be for all beneficiaries in the United States. Although many Americans think that retirement payments arrive on the same day for all beneficiaries, nothing could be further from the truth.
In order to get the new of the payments in the next few days it is mandatory to meet certain requirements. If we do not meet these requirements we cannot get this payment, but will have to wait for a different day. In total, the Administration sends four different payments during the month and each retiree can get only one of these payments.
Who can get the new Social Security?
In order to get the payment of up to $4,873 we have to meet two requirements. The first is to have an accepted benefit from May 1997 onwards. In other words, if we have applied for retirement in that month or in any of the following months we will be able to get this next day’s check if we meet the other requirement.
The second requirement is to have a birthday between the 1st and 10th of any month. The second requirement is also mandatory, so we cannot miss it and get the June 12th payment. It is important that we check both requirements, since our benefit will arrive at this time or not depending on whether we meet them.
If I don’t meet these requirements, when will I get my June Social Security?
Despite the fact that the next Social Security check will be on June 12th, the truth is that we must keep in mind that not all beneficiaries meet these requirements. So we must know well when the next payment days will be and what are the conditions to obtain them.
The later days in June to obtain this benefit are:
- June 18th. The payment of this benefit is for beneficiaries after May 1997 with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of any month.
- June 26th. To obtain payment on this day, it is necessary to have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month and obtain a benefit from after May 1997.
Also, the amount of these checks does not affect the day of collection. Similarly, the amount in the Social Security check depends directly on the beneficiary’s work history. But the important point is that this amount does not matter in order to obtain payment on the 12th, 18th or 26th day of June 2024.
