Wagons may be a niche in the US market but they are really popular in Europe. In the old continent, carmakers are competing fiercely in the wagon segment and the folks there can now welcome a new model, the Volvo V60.
The new generation V60 can be described as a more refined, wagon version of the S60 and it certainly looks promising. It was revealed by Volvo that the top-of-the-line V60 relies on a hybrid powertrain that can churn out a whopping 390hp.
The other major positive with the car is with its exceptional styling that looks great on the eyes. The interior is also well-equipped with technologies and the cabin completes what one would say the most perfect luxury wagon yet.
Just for comparison sake, the Audi A4 Avant was the biggest craze in the luxury wagon scene prior to the arrival of the V60 and it boasts 354hp with the ability to return 35.8MPG.
The V60 is already better on the numbers and looks, and if reasonably priced, we can say that the wagon has successfully bumped the A4 Avant off the most-wanted list.
